James Bennett is an Alternative Roots/ Folk artist from Newcastle NSW. �
No stranger to playing live, he plays over 100 shows per year. James incorporates many different
elements into his performances including Weissenborn Lap Steel, 11 & 6 string guitars, foot percussion, harmonica & a unique vocal style.

The last few years James has warmed up the stage for much loved Australian artists such as The John Butler Trio, Diesel, Jeff lang, The Whitlams, Wendy Matthews, Ian Moss, The Black Sorrows, Vika & Linda Bull, Rick Price & Dan Sultan. This list also extends to some well know international artists like Newton Faulkner (UK) & Canned Heat (USA).

James is currently working on his third studio album set to be released in mid 2019 featuring ex John Butler Trio Drumer/ Percussionist Michael Barker, Mike Rix on Upright Bass, Steve Taylor (L.A) Piano, Nick Saxon Lead Guitar/ Harmonies & the incredible Wendy Matthews lending her beautiful voice for harmonies.
